Today's my free day.
No project meetings, outings, work, nothing.
So I am gonna spend my day lazing around at home.
:D
My favourite activities: hanging around at home sleeping, eating, cooking and using my laptop.
Actually I don't really mean to spend most of my day sleeping, but I get sleepy easily at home, so when I am at home I will sleep most of my day away.
But I think sleeping when you don't need to sleep is a waste of time, so I am trying to change my habits now.

Don't judge me!
Free days where I can just spend all day at home at becoming rare now, so I don't do these very often or something.
HAHA

Anyway, project meetings are quite fun too, though we have to meet a lil early.
Cause.. There are always mahjong sessions at the end! Hahaha.
The amount of time we spend playing mj is more than the amount of time we spend doing our projects.
I am becoming an addict.
I will miss mj immediately right after a game.
Mj is my boyfriend now.
But actually I am not very good at it, so clare always teams up with me.
Yesterday after clare left early and I had to play on my own my heart was beating damn fast.
HAHAHA
I concentrated really hard.
And I only lost $2.30 in the end!
Losing isn't a good thing, but I am still quite proud of myself for not losing even more.
Haha loser's way of thinking.

Nah, I am just an optimist.

Have been blogging in ages.
Hope I wont get too lazy to blog eventually.
I can get lazy to continue watching a drama while I am halfway through it, so I think the future for this blog looks bleak.

But I will still try my best!
To update it so that I won't ever forget anything good or bad that happened to me.
But I realised that most of my posts are my thoughts and musings, I rarely write about what I did or stuff like that. I think.


I always start out wanting to talk about my day though. Like for this post, I wanted to write about how I went to chinatown today for a project and frog leg porridge today (hehe), but instead I got sidetracked a little.
And I always start a post with nothing much to say but end up typing a lot of bo liao stuff.
Hai.


So.
I went to chinatown today! With clare, jacq, steph and yuen jie. (Hehe yuen jie)


Our main intention was to do our maec and fabm-hom project, but we ended up eating and eating the whole day, yay.


First before doing anything we went to have frog leg porridge for brunch.
(Haven't had this is yearsssss, I love eating lots of the gravy mixed with the porrigde. Damn nice man, if only they sell bottles of the gravy. I will give up my marmite for it.)


Then after walking a long hot way to the site, we had desserts at a place called granny's sweet desserts I think.
We had mango sticky rice, durian sticky rice, and muah chee there.
Steph ordered mango sago with pomelo drink.
We actually didn't order the durian sticky rice, but they made a mistake and sent it to us, but after we informed them they made the mango sticky rice for us and didn't take the durian sticky rice back.
So we had one for free!
LOL


After this we went to central at clarke quay. I bought a raisin cream cheese bun from barcook bakery and Jacq had an icecream from marble slab.
But of course, everyone had a bite of the ice cream HAHA.


Then we went to bugis to take more pictures for our project.
Bought some sweets at illuma (the type where you get a bag and pick the sweets yourself, and you get charged by how much the bag weighs) and the girl serving us was really _|_
Aiya I don't even feel like thinking of her face.
Makes me feel annoyed.
Grr.


So anyway the last meal of our outing was at macs, and we went there just because we wanted to play monopoly deal.


At home I had mushroom soup and garlic bread just cause I can't wait to try the canned mushroom soup from marks and spencer to see if it's nicer than campbell's.
I wasn't hungry though, I was just itching to try it. HEH
Conclusion is that the M&S one isn't as thick as campbell's, and preparation is a little easier cause you don't have to add water or milk or anything.
Just pour into the pot and stir till it gets hot.
It's only so so I guess. Not as nice as those in restaurants (or course LOL) but acceptable.
I think I like it better than campbell's.
:D 


This post is damn boring. For me I mean. I got bored writing it halfway but I forced myself to continue cause I really wanted to write down what happened today.


I shall challenge myself and write about my day yesterday.
HAHAHA.


Yesterday was clique outing! The secondary school clique. Cheyenne, Hazel and Zhiyun. ♥
So weird to be calling them my secondary school friends.
Like they are not my main friends cause they used to be.
I don't know if you get what I mean, but nvm if you don't get it.


We met at Orchard MRT station, then went to Ion, then to Raindrops for my pay, then to 313@somerset, then Orchard Towers for Thai food, then Peninsula Plaza for thanaka, then Clarke Quay, then Citylink, then Suntec City.


Lazy to go into details about what we did at those places but we had a really hard time locating some of them. Luckily our reliable tourguide Hazel Yong YOYO was there HAHAHA.
It was nice meeting again, haven't seen some of them for a long time.

And to think we used to have lunch together everyday.
:( :(


Before I forget to write it down, I had a squad bbq last sunday.
It was good meeting them too :D
I miss doing drills. LOL
I learnt and memorised them for four years but I forgot most of them now!
Shiat my life.
And learning them wasn't easy hor, we had to endure scoldings (sometimes justified, sometimes not), pumpings and various other punishments.
(Usually the lame ones which involves running to a trees, touching it and running back -.-)
I think I got some arm muscles from those pumpings but they melted into fats now cause I haven't exercised for a lonnngggg time :(

Next time I shall just spam my post with pictures so that I won't have to describe so much.
HEH HEH HEH.

i wanna be an astronaut

Whoa maec common test is tomorrow.
It's a scary thought, I feel really unprepared.
I suck at econs, I don't know why.
I understand the notes and concepts, but I just can't apply them.
Grrr.

Plus getting a smartphone (bb) this year made me really distracted.
Facebook, twitter, ebooks.
It's so damn hard to study peacefully for hours at a go.

I wish I can just be an astronaut and fly out of this world.
And never come back. Whoohoo.
Maybe I can even be friends with martians if I don't burn to death on Mars first.
Or go to the moon to eat mooncake with chang er.
Wah can't stand it, damn lame.
But anyway an astronaut needs to be very good at physics and math too right?
Unfortunately, I suck at both :#

My childhood ambition is to become an astronaut.
Hiakhiak but that's a common one I think.
Which child doesn't want to float around all day and talk to aliens you tell me.
It's the coolest job I ever heard of, as a child.
Last time I thought we can only be teachers, lawyers, doctors, astronauts, cashiers or roadside sweepers when we grow up.
HAHAHA.
So being an astronaut was the obvious choice.
I even made a pair of "binoculars" using two toilet rolls and pieces of transparent book wrap when I was about eight!
Hehe. Then I pretended that the moons and stars got clearer when I used it to see them
Okay I know astronomers are the ones who observe stars but I didn't know last time.
BAHA.
I was so proud of my creation that I brought it everywhere with me, until it fell into a toilet bowl at some shopping mall.
It was the most traumatic experience of my life.
HAHA. No la, not so exaggerating, but I think I cried for quite awhile over it.
Come to think of it, it's quite embarrassing to carry around two toilet rolls glued together.
And in a crowded shopping mall some more.
Plus I was already 8! What was I thinking?! Hahaha
I think my mum was secretly happy that it fell into the toilet bowl cause I kept asking her to help me hold it.
I can't stand to hold stuff for more than 15 minutes in my hands when I was younger.

ITB ct is over, and I am left with MAEC on friday.
But I really don't feel like studying today.
I think I will watch playful kiss instead.

Somehow recently I can't seem to complete watching dramas.
I haven't even completed personal taste yet but I don't feel like going back to watch it.
It's not because lee min ho isn't hot enough though.
I think it's because I am watching it online, that's why.
Cause when I am online I open so many tabs that I get distracted and forget I am midway through a show.
Suddenly felt irritated with myself.

Should I work on friday?
My throat still feels very uncomfortable and I don't feel like speaking.
But I haven't been to work for a week. Feels strange.
And if I stop working I won't want to start again.

I used to like working but I think I am getting lazier.
The thought of leaving my house makes me feel tired, and my hobby is lazing around the house making weird things to eat.

Having a fever really sucks, especially when there's a sore throat to go along with it.
Now my body feels warm to the touch, but I am feeling cold, and I can't stop eating ice or ice cream.

A birthday, and snails

Had dinner at The Ship (shaw centre branch) yesterday to celebrate mum's birthday (in advance), and I had escargots for the first time!

It just tasted garlicky, cause it was cooked in a garlic sauce.

Can't taste any natural snail flavour at all.

HAHA

But it was black, and silky.

Doesn't look very appetising, but the texture was quite good.

I felt bad when I had to stab the poor snail inside the shell repeatedly (it was slippery and I had no skill) with a small but scary 2 prong fork to dig it out.

And eat it.

I always have weird thoughts like this, until I scare myself

But yesterday was an enjoyable day anyway, cause I had a lot of good food :D

And I had one and a half pieces of garlic toast yesterday, with 2 chunks of butter!

Mmm.

I love bread and I love butter, and I really love them together :3

HEH HEH I think I can eat bread and butter for the rest of my life.

Low maintenance.

The reason I has one and a half pieces is because I was a dustbin and helped someone to finish hers cause she can't finish it.

And I ate a huge chunk of my mum's steak too.

But that's because she also can't finish it, not because I wanted it, really!

HAHA

By the way, I got the biggest shock of my life yesterday when Jacq told me that ITB (IT in biz) common test is this monday.

Turns out it isn't, but I spent about 20 minutes wondering how I am going to take the test with only one day of preparation when I didn't listen to lectures and still can't figure out the difference between WAN and LAN or something.

But there was also a 10 minutes where I had a sudden resolve to rush home, sit down, and study ITB till my ass goes numb.

I guess sometimes a bit of shock is important too. LOL

So I shall forgive Jacq, who also got the biggest shock of her life on friday.
